Until today, I never knew why they called it 'Black Friday'. It is called that because it's the day that puts retailers into the 'Black'. I hadn't really given it too much thought because I am one of the few, that I know, that refuses to be anywhere near a store tomorrow.
I have to admit, it was kind of exciting to see the dog lug this HUGE super Sunday-sized newspaper off the driveway chock-full of sale inserts for every store imaginable, but I will stay strong and resist. OK, I might take a peek at what they're offering, but unless they offer the same special online, assure you I will not relent.
My goal is to do the majority of my holiday shopping online and have it shipped to me. Did you know that this Monday is the busiest online shopping day of the year? It seems that after everyone has tired of the crowds, lack of parking, and crabby salespeople from Friday, they sit down at their computer, in the comfort of their homes, and shop quickly, efficiently, and safely online for even more deals without the hassle.
Hey, maybe your favorite Bath & Body website, TheBodyBakery.com, will even jump on the bandwagon that day for an unadvertised special...who knows? You'll have to be sure and visit that day to see!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends today and think of all of the things you have to be grateful for! Today, we're especially grateful to you!
Stay Sweet and Happy Shopping!
